All aboard! The subway system has arrived.

With the A2Z city getting bigger and the server becoming more popular Joe and myself decided that walking from place to place just wouldn’t cut it any longer. Luckily we had already built a perfect area directly beneath the cities tutorial building just a few weeks before, knowing that a station would be needed at some point.
This station will hold all outgoing lines so that people can access their structures outside the city walls easily. All city loops will also have a stop there to make navigation around the city quick and easy. We decided that the standard minecart physics couldn’t do what was needed so installing a plugin called minecraftmania seemed like a winner. It takes away the need to build boosters inline and also adds sign based commands among other things. So far we have been really impressed with it.
All the track for the main city loop has been laid and we are working on installing more stations today to try and get that line up and running for the weekend.
