A2Z has existed 5 months but a2zopolis is much older, aprox. 7-8 months. From the time when the server was private and only Joe and Jay were working on it. Since then a lot has changed, and a lot has disappeared too… But there are still some remains of old buildings that can be found, and you have probably never seen them! Here are some examples…

 

The south gate apartements subway

 

This is the subway station hidden beneath the south gate apartements. It was very important when the city first started, since it was the only apartement building. But when the subway got renovated, the station got blocked off and nobody ever saw it again… The last track piece of the line can be seen on the picture on the right side.

 

 

The south gate apartements Roof

Ever been to the roof of this old building? Right on top of Vinnylotto’s penthouse ( also something ancient, go check it ), is this weird place. It has a small pond, Some grass and trees and a handball field.

Random fact: The south gate apartments were previously known as the section-8 building!

The A2Z Warehouse

This leftover of the warehouse, was used to be a storageroom for Joe and Jay when they were building the city. In those days, everything was legitimate legitimate and crafted by hand.

Random fact: The warehouse is now owned by Decca999, who uses the area for his own stuff.

The VIP community farm

The plan for the VIP apartements used to be that they had a community farm, were the residents could gather basic materials like cactus & Sugar cane ( picture above) The gardens were build but never used.

Donator Center

The donator center, at the bottom of the a2z lake is also one of the old buildings in our world. It was built months ago, but never opened, until a few weeks ago. It was meant to be a place were donators could receive their perks and info about commands.

 

Random fact: A shaft is leading to it, you can enter it from the spawn center.

 

The courthouse ballroom

The courthouse, made by Daynineleven, a player who unfortunatly left the server, was preparing this right before she left… The plan was to make it a ballroom, where people could watch and laugh at prisoners below them, annoyed with annoyance machines.

Ssssecrets!

Some of us may remember this, the old A2zopolis hidden secrets! They have no use at the moment but some of them are still here… The oldest of them is the one on the picture above. It used to be hidden behind the shop building ( got removed, replaced with the market) It was a netherrack room where you needed to walk trough the fire to reach a chest with a diamond. The one below is hidden inside the tree next to the spawncenter, and could be accessed with an elevator!
