1.2 Has been released! DO NOT UPDATE!!!

Minecraft version 1.2 (actually 1.2.1) is now officially released! Jeb has just released the newest update! But as always PLEASE REMEMBER, if you want to play on the a2z server please do NOT update your client! We must wait on the Bukkit.org team to release a new CraftBukkit build! Thank you –
- New jungle biome
- Added ocelots
- Added cats
- Added iron golems
- New AI for mobs
- Tame wolves can have puppies
- Villagers will have children if they’re in a room in their village
- New map height limit (256 instead of 128)
- New items and blocks
- Doors have been updated so that double-doors work better with redstone
- Added rare drops for mobs
- Many other minor tweaks and fixes
In addition Jeb has said, the Minecraft launcher has been updated. The new launcher should properly select 64 bit Java installations for Mac OS X users. If you haven’t downloaded Minecraft yet you can grab it here: www.minecraft.net/download

Anyways if thats the right one that you have to wait for to update the server, how long will it take to incorporate into the server?

That’s just another bukkit plugin, what we are waiting on is BUKKIT itself. Bukkit is a type of server wraper, it’s what allows us to use all of our fantastic plugins. Once they release a stable build I’ll update, I’m close to happy with what I’m using right now on test server so it might not be all that long! I’m sure they’re working as fast as possible, as we’ll be once everythings good to go!

Thanks much liorlevi! We are testing 1.2 Dev builds right now but will remain on 1.1 until we get a very stable build at least! This will help much, if anyone has updated and want’s to revert to wold 1.1 bin just use this .jar!

I was so happy i was like i didnt know he was coming out with a update. stupid me not thinking i hit yes. is their a way i can downgrade. and if not wen can i come back. also are u gonna wipe out the server then?

OK, now i need help. I NEED to get back to 1.1 so i can grab some stuff i have, put it in the auction house, and pick it up later. I really need a 1.1 .jar… any help?

World should remain the same, if we need a new world/spawn you and all players will be able to warp back to other world and play one either or!
