Our NEW world..(MAP RESET)

As you all know we’ve been running for over a year now, we’ve been running our current world for almost 9 months. In that time you’ve all built epic creations, and collected and earned no doubt lots of loot! But all things must come to an end, and our world is now over 9 gigs large! Outside the city walls the wild is being rapidly used up, we should also note that the land itself is mostly built on 1.8 chunks! So it’s with great sadness and joy that we’re announcing we will be starting up a fresh map! A brand new a2z world all for the taken, building, and surviving in! Have no fear, we’ve place a [WARP] sign right at spawn, warping will take you to the A2Z Bank, inside you’ll be able to store up to FOUR double chests of your items. On MONDAY MAY 7th we will reset the map and introduce everyone to our new world/city. Please keep in mind that ALL but the bank will be lost, in the near future we’ll set up a form on the site to allow players to request building transfers, but for the time being we’ll only be bringing our bank to the new world. We realize this can be a HUGE inconvenience and hope everyone understand that it’s in fact a very necessary move. Once again thank you so much for playing with us, we hope you all enjoy the new world as much as you did the old – Minecrafta2z

How exactly do you start playing…? There is no “play” button

The only thing I really have to lose is my fort in the A2Z city, as well of the mass of items I’ve stored in it.
I’m just curious if the new A2Z city will have the same plot diameters is the current one, so, that buildings could be moved with ease.

Okay, after roaming around, I met someone who explained to me I needed a person of the staff to open an account for me.
I’m looking forward to the map reset.

I’m confused on how to store the items in the bank. I’ve tried asking in game, but only a few people were on, and didn’t respond. Are people supposed to be able to open a slot for themselves there?

Looking forward to the new world and all… I’m sure you guys are planning to make it ultra epic. I’d like to make a feature request or two.
1) Death chests.
2) Sapling auto-plant
3) Unlimited diamonds for pirates that limp.
I’m sure other folks have more spectacular ideas for how to make the latest-greatest a2z even more greater, so please pitch in and share your ideas. In the meantime, I’ll be counting the hours (and mining for diamonds to deposit in the bank!)

but i haft to say it is a terrible thing to seee a2z city gone but you no what the ay out the ashes of the old comes the new and no matter what you do to the server a2z will allways be my faviot server here we come a2z 1.2

First of all, congratulations by one whole year of good job in the server, I really like the server itself, with friendly people, and so.
Well, I have two questions:
1.) As I read and I understand ALL the server will be reset into a new blank map and all the buildings and loot on chests will be lost except the ones in bank, but now I ask: what about the land ownerships? the people they have one or more lands on the server will get back the ownership of a small piece of land of the new city?
2.) This one it’s kind more personal, but I did a good lil park on a piece of land in honor to the A2Z community, it’s little, but it has some good architecture, I want it to you, the staff, consider it as a possible good building to have in the future, can you?
Thats all! now I’m going to backup the rest of things, keep the awesome job, you all!

My initial response is one of shock and horror. I may well change my mind but I’m rather proud of what I’ve achieved for an old man. Along with my Son. For it all to be lost. Not a happy bunny is putting it mildly. I’ve not made up my mind but I may well vote with my feet.

I’m excited and a bit sadden finally our build was getting finished but now we can start with a new world new stuff new mines.

I am both excited and a little disappointed. I’m not one the the best builders, but I’m gonna miss some of the stuff that I did build. Plus I’ve got a lot stored, that now I’ll lose.

You know what, I think a fresh start would be nice. Personally I don’t feel I have anything particularly awesome to lose on the old world so I relish the idea of a brand new start.
Dunno if the same can be said for some amazing builders though. :/
