Let The Games Begin!

I am happy to announce a new addition to the minecrafta2z server, The Games! The basic idea came from the Hunger Games although we have added a few significant changes to make it perfect for online multiplayer. Firstly the game will never end! any player at any time can buy in and partake in The Games and secondly its all automatic (no waiting for staff to accept your applications!)
Entry into The Games will cost 3000 coin and once you enter no rules apply, Its kill or be killed! For every player you kill inside the arena you will gain 1500 coins and these coins will be deducted directly from the dead players account. To enter into The Games you will need atleast 4500 coin, 3000 for your entry fee and 1500 for your death penalty. Any player inside the games can quit and forfeit their 3000 entry by doing /games leave.
Remember that once you enter The Games no rules apply if you die your coin is lost!
Will you take the chance to win thousands of coins?
Ingame commands:
- /Games buyticket – Takes 3000 coin from your account and enters you into The Games! (you will need a further 1500 coin for your death penalty)
- /Games info – Gives you info on the current games.
- /Games spectate – Lets you watch The Games via a platform.
- /Games – Gives plugin info.
- /games leave – Lets you leave the current match you are taking part in.
Hint:
- There are hidden chests and Free item signs around the world.
- Killing mobs is the easiest way to find food.
- Remember that unfriendly mobs are still on and they will kill you!
- Don’t die!

i think you should be able to build a hut or make weapons, everytime i go the chests i find are always empty, i also think it would be more like the hunger games if the map was larger and had mor forest’s, other wise i suggest trying a map from the book that was not actually from the current year in the games, it was mentioned that there was a desert and a snow games, if anything id be glad to make them
i am a major hunger game’s fan and have all the books and know details to the traps/etc. these games werent used in the book because people died of frostbite etc, so if we make the maps they could possibly bring lots of fans to the server.. thought i would suggest these things just for fun.

I’ve played this Hunger Games map before and it was really cool. Unfortunately you have all building turned off making half of the map’s functionality obsolete and dull. There are hiding places and chests and can not be used otherwise. Not worth coins until you fix this and just have the map restart ever hour or 2 automatically.

quick comment, if we’re doing everyone equal, can we turn off mcmmo inside the games?
or have a separate set of mcmmo stats inside the games?

…….does this mean donators who can fly are allowed to fly? If so there is no point in even trying. xD

All donor perks are removed inside of The Games. Every player is equal.
If you find bugs (people doing things they shouldn’t be doing ) report them here.

Cool plugin!
A couple of feature requests, if you don’t mind;
Spectator area could benefit from glass floors (and perhaps be a little lower/closer to the action?
/games leave from spectator area results in death (and for me, loss of another 1.5k). Is this a feature or a bug?
Also, several complaints have been made concerning battle-logging. Can controls on logging be implemented?

Yup the spectator area could be better, sure this will be updated.
The /games leave seems like it is a bug (thanks for submitting it)
That is definitely against the rules! If staff see that happening it will result in jail time. As for a fix I’m not sure yet.
