Market Stall Contest! 25K prize.

The player owned shops have been M.I.A for some time now, this weekend we’ll be holding a stall building contest on the empty plot just to the right of spawn. The plot has been made public players should provide all materials, Sunday Jay and myself will chose the design we feel best suites the markets needs. The contest prize is 25,000 coin! We have placed a ButtonWarp near all the others…Good luck everyone.

Our version of the argonath!

Building these has been in discussion for a long time on our server but we finally came to the conclusion that enough detail couldn’t be added to these without digging all the way to bedrock and building them up from there. We didn’t want to spoil the look outside the south gate so Tempumori (our servers artist) set about building Minecrafts version of the Argonath! They are 1 block to 1 pixel in scale and replicate both mine and Joe’s characters lol. I have to say though that they don’t look quite as intimidating as the LoTR version.

Here is an interesting build that was made on our server just outside the cities south gate. It was built by a player called Kottetrance just after he joined the server a few weeks back. Its clever use of blocks really adds to the detail and it sits there really fitting in with the whole theme that we have going on. I would love to see a bigger version with the same amount of detail and I’m thinking we could make it a group build, if anyone else is interested?
I’m going to start a new topic on the forums for people to suggest a group build, so make sure you post up your ideas and remember to think BIG!
