minecraft epic doku tree
I’m posting this in ‘Epic’ because it pretty much sums it up in one. This artificial tree was built by a player named Rilst0ne with help from Joe and a few other players that where online.
These pictures really don’t do it justice so if you want to see it for yourself apply for the whitelist on our server page.
Ps. sorry for my recent lack of posts but i’m on holiday till Friday and getting on the internet isn’t so easy in the countryside.

The hand of creation!

3:48 am in Epic! by jayty

minecraft hand of creation
Here is another of Tempusmori’s great builds. First he brought us the giant open hand statue thats in the central lake and now he has finished this epic recreation of Michelangelo’s painting of the hand of creation for the ceiling of our minecart station. Its made up of over 6000 colored wool blocks, with a few hundred glowstone in it to make sure its nice and bright.
Tempus is currently working on another project for us thats going to look pretty epic once its done so keep checking the blog for that or why not join our server and take a look around for yourself. The whitelist application is on the forums Here.

Giant Creeper at Chalmers Cortège annual parade.

9:47 am in Epic! by jayty

Its crazy how Minecraft has such an influence on people! This giant creeper was built by a group of students for the Chalmers Cortège parade. the Chalmers Cortege is an annual carnival/parade held in Sweden where around 500 students from the Chalmers University of Technology get together and put on a parade covering recent events in a fun way.
I salute the group that built this epic 4m high creeper for the event. It must have been a lot of fun to work on. Well done!

Epic central lake statue!

minecraft hand statue
It always amazes me how small and simple builds can sometimes look better than huge epic buildings that take days/weeks to build. I think it’s because smaller builds require more attention to detail and have to be more intricate to be eye catching. That brings us to todays blog… TempusMori’s statue of an open hand that is now located in the heart of the city.
It was Joe that pointed this out to me built in the wilderness, made out of cobblestone with a tree planted in its palm and water flowing through its fingers. We practically decided right away that this needed to be in the city somewhere and where better than the cities central lake? TempusMori was more than happy to build it for us so all we needed to do was choose what it would be built out of as cobblestone just wasn’t epic enough for where it was getting built. After some chitchat we decided on Obsidian for the main structure with lava flowing from its palm.
The end result looks really good and would just like to say thanks to Temp for building it.
