First off, I would like to inform everybody that the server will be down for maintenance from 11:00 PM to 12:00 AM Central Time.

Long story short: we are making some changes to our maps… While we do love our current map (city/wild), we thought it could use some improvement. This is why we are separating the one map into two: A city map and a wild map. The city map will be just the city, no going outside the walls or walking outside the gates. The wild map will be vice versa; be just the wild, and no city.

Why are we making this change? Well, this can help us significantly in the future. If Minecraft ever comes out with new biomes, ores, terrain, etc., we can quickly generate new wild maps without having to copy/paste the city onto a new map, which is a huge hassle. Also, we feel that this change will help with the spreading of players throughout the wild. Instead of players congregation and clustering right outside the city walls, we can teleport players into the wild to randomly generated spots. With every X number of players that teleport, the location will change.

Will be lose any of our hard work? Thankfully, nothing will be lost. The city will simply be moved onto its own map, and the wild onto its own map. Nothing will be lost in the process.

A2Zopolis is constantly expanding; we like to always have plots available for those who want them. But, this does pose a problem: there is only one central spawn… Every time we do another expansion, plots become further and further away from the spawn, and therefore less desirable.

Thus, the staff and I have put our heads together and come up with a city warp system. This system has been dubbed “A2Z Public Transportation.” 10 warp stations have been placed around the city, mostly around the outskirts, to facilitate getting around.

Each station is similar to this, with a board of all the available warps. Simply click on any of the warps, and be teleported to that location.

Here’s the map of all ten warps. 

Also, please remember that all warps are shared, even the server warps. Make sure not to overwrite any of the server warps.
