Banned eons ago, I have finally returned to see what has become of the server since and to attempt to get unbanned.

I will, for the benefit of most, recount the tale of how I got banned.
It includes one of the only two admins I remember since leaving. One was remembered for being good, the other for being not-so-good.
This particular tale involves MrsBye. I do not know of what has become of her since, but I could maybe find out.

I can't remember too much of what happened, but the parts that I do are quite clear to me.

I can't remember why I said this in the first place, but all I remember was saying that the great admins, apart from MrsBye, were promoted for doing a good job, I believe.
When MrsBye asked me why she was not included, I jokingly insinuated that she slept her way to the position.
And I have been permenantly banned ever since.
I cannot stress my annoyance at the ban, but what was worse was the 2 weeks without any explaination or response from any member of staff. I sent a fair amount of messages directly to them, with no response until eventually I recieved one from MrsBye herself, telling me to return when I "became more mature".
Not only ironic, but hypocritical. The fact of the matter being that I was permanently banned for making a joke at an admin's expense. I did not curse, I was not serious, and there was no hesitation between the end of my sentance and the start of my ban. I was banned because I did not know what MrsBye's sense of humour was. There was no explaination, no opportunity to apologise. No justice on my part.

What makes this worse is the fact that I only remember breaking one rule before, and that was abusing the MCMMO. Even that did not earn me a permaban. I eventually returned to play the game normally, but was interrupted by MrsBye.

I have returned now to know whether MrsBye is still an admin, and to know how well she is doing.
I would also like to return to the server. I believe I have left it long enough.

I never made an abuse report against her, though I may still. It was abuse, no matter how long ago it happened.

Personally (as the party you are speaking about) I find it rude and disrespectful to insinuate that any woman has to "sleep her way to the top" what you fail to mention is when I first started the server you spent weeks pming me begging for my bra size, you my dear are a sexist pig. And in saying that if I am out of line Joe and Jay can take my staff powers away. I personally feel if you would disrespect me that way (a female in "power" on the server) you would do it to the others girls there. I dont think they need to be in an enviroment where they have to deal with someone who doesnt know anything about boundaries and how to keep them.

Yes I do think that you need to mature a bit before coming back to a2z. Sorry you feel wronged but your comment about me sleeping my way up made me feel violated. Deal with it. Its just a game!

So you are allowed to ban me for being disrespectful, I completely agree.
But when I apologise profusely and assure that it won't happen again, you still remain stubborn and claim that a permanent ban for disrespect is appropriate?

The fact that you call me a "sexist pig" doesn't really phase me. Quite frankly, I couldn't give a damn. However, it is not your place to say that I am not allowed on the server because of something that you have labelled me.

I wouldn't report you. I don't really care enough. You're probably a good admin, but I don't think you should let personal issues (and no matter what you say, this is a personal issue) stand in the way of your judgement on these types of matter.

Do you not think that even, what, six months is enough of a ban for one sentance of meaningless disrespect? Personally, and I can speak from experience here, having been an admin on several different servers and games, the longest ban I would dole out for disrespect is a week, yet you make it permanent because you want to assert your power on a "sexist pig"?

It's not that I feel wronged by the ban. I would completely understand if I were in your situation, however the ban length was just inappropriate in itself.

A) I was honestly apologetic, until you decided that it didn't matter anyway, so what difference does it make now?
B) I never said the admins wanted me back, that doesn't mean that I don't deserve to be back.
C) I joked around with you. You never told me that you didn't like what I was doing before you banned me, and a permenant ban for that is not acceptable, and I could not care less whether you agree with that or not.
D) The fact that you talked to Joe about it makes little difference to the fact that this is a personal issue. You are making opinionated remarks about me and basing everything that follows on a stereotypical remark made by yourself. That makes this personal.

Then unban me.

You can't act nonchalant if you also want to keep your argument valid.
